The successful candidate will combine strong hands on system design and development in CORE Java with some web development experience, keen understanding of trader’s needs and excellent collaboration skills. We are looking to hire a Senior Java Core developer to join our new FX Option team at FXall. This team will be building a new product which will supplement our current offerings in the FX Spot, Forwards and NDF markets. The product will cover all aspects of an FX Option system from pre-trade indicative pricing, through trading, to post-trade functionality and will utilize services from other FXall offerings. There will be heavy interaction with the business and other technology groups at FXall to deliver a best-of-breed, scalable solution with seamless integration to existing systems. Performing properly in this role will require an understanding of the overall planned structure of the new FX Option system. In addition the candidate will need to gain a deep understanding of the current FXall infrastructure in order to interface with other FXall products for connectivity and common functionality. The candidate will be responsible for development of all back-end processing needed for pricing , messaging, storing or other processing of FX Option data, support and enhancement of the system, performing functional testing of the application and providing internal training. The ideal candidate comes from an Agile software product development background and has strong experience with the FX Options business.

Work closely with a number of key participants including Product Management on requirements gathers to ensure a successful trading experience on the platform. Participate in the design and implementation of highly scalable, high quality, and reusable components and systems. Collaborate with other development teams to integrate new and existing trading engines. Collaborate with Quality Assurance and application support teams to improve product reliability and system availability to ensure client satisfaction, and analyze live trading environment issues and provide troubleshooting and ongoing support.
